Recent Projects: Public Functionary Gallery MPLS

 

EncompassArts was thrilled to be a part of this very cool project. We added function to certain areas by building rooms and walls.  We bulked up the columns and finished and dialed in the perimeter walls. We also opened up part of the gallery by adding a set of glass double doors. We hope you get a chance to check out this very cool art space. Public Functionary is located at 1400 12th Avenue NE Minneapolis, MN. Come enjoy one of Minneapolis's nicest new gallery spaces for their grand opening show on April 20th from 6pm-10pm.

Yee Haaw! Another fun restaurant concept that included old country faux and horsehide finishes, yes its really only paint! Velvet wallpaper to give just a hint of old west whorehouse and truckloads of reclaimed barn wood. We sprayed out the ceilings and rafters black for a dramatic backdrop for cowboys and Indians alike to come together in drunken harmony. We provided the backdrop for a radical new nightclub concept! I'm an 80's video junkie (recovering thx) so this was a very fun project. Video gaming inspired murals and bright saturated colors give this environment a surreal and futuristic look. You have to love the female servers glow in the dark Tron outfits! There are tons of old school games as well as the newest game consoles living peacefully side by side. Geek meets chic! www.insertcoinsmpls.com
